if you only subscribe to one baseball podcast, this is the one. ESPN Baseball Today is a daily show, around 20 minutes in length, that features the voices of Peter Pascarelli and Eric Karabell. It makes for a great combination, with one person playing the straight guy, and the other with the eccentric, but true, opinions. It makes for some grating personalities at times, with people getting flustered and puffy, but in the end, all comes good. One couldn’t describe it as synergy, but rather creative chaos.
Peter is a former journalist who now makes his living as an ESPN baseball analyst. He often scores interviews with the top players and managers in the game, and these insightful 5 minute clips are sprinkled throughout the week. The Monday to Friday podcast flies by with news, previewing upcoming matches and the occasional wonky tangent.
