Hi Simon. Steve Young from Dunedin here. I heard your broadcast on the upcoming documentary festival in Auckland and Wellington - specifically your comments on the Sid Bernstein doco. Sid managed Mother Goose in New York in 1979, and I worked closely with him. I think you said something about the producers of the doco also coming out to NZ - do you have any way I could contact them?
Thanks and kind regards

Wow! You called my show lively! I think I love you.

Seriously, thanks for the plug. And I totally agree. Esteban does a fantastic job with Social Nerdia. I have honestly never met my match in podcast preparedness until I met him. He thoroughly researched me as a guest and guided the conversation like a pro. Fantastic host for a fantastic show.

I find this forward looking and provocative. Nobody knows where we are going to wind up but Beyond The Book asks the right questions of the right people. I find that interesting and useful.
Having been in the print trade since I left college I am deeply interested in where we are going. I think BTB does a good job for me.

Justin and Derek, I always look forward to 8 CT (although sometimes I forget and try to tune in a 9 CT!) Saturday mornings. Lately my family and I have been hit with some major financial set-backs. But with your show being faithfully broadcast each week I can go there and know that the hope is still there. You guys remind me on a regular basis that we need to stay in control at all times of our finances, or else it will literally control us and can be disastrous if we don't. And it will, we've been there.
Anyway, great job guys and keep up the tremendous service you are doing for all of us out here in this great nation, that I also believe there is hope for!

Hey guys - thanks so much for writing about our show here! I greatly appreciate it!

Like Justin says above, we've got some great changes in store for 2010. More to come at www.lukascoaching.com, so please check in on us.

You're synopsis is correct - money touches everything (for better or worse), so we must do the rational and intelligent thing: manage it to the best of our abilities.

Thanks again for your insight!

All my best,

Derek

Thanks for featuring Past Due: Radio here guys. I'm the host and consider it an honor.

I love any kind of feedback I get on the show and I'm right with you on the commercial breaks. The commercials are there because this is a physical radio show broadcast live in Raleigh, NC.

Because of this feedback we're proud to announce we're going commercial free in 2010!

Thanks for the awesome feedback and for listening!

I am right there with you.

I'd add to the list: Quality show notes with links (now I've set myself up for failure...), and a promo exchange policy - NOT charging to run promos within the podcast.
