podCast411 – Inside the Podcasters’ Studio
this show is now defunct, but makes a nice slice of podcast history. It basically ran continuously for three years (from 2005-2007) and racked up over 200 episodes. It is basically an interview show, with prominent podcasters telling their story; how they got into the game, what keeps them going, what their audience is like. There is a brief snippet of news at the start of each podcast that is the sound of sparkling crystal to me – it fills in the early years of podcasting; outlining some of the software used, the online ecosystem, the various bickerings that took place. This is history as it took place.
this is a 30 minute show that is absolute joy.
